Hi all,
I have really struggled with trying to figure out why I am getting FPS drops and stuttering when playing League of Legends and now with basic web browsing. I have gone through a lot of troubleshooting steps and searched lots of forums but none have seen to work. This issue seems to happen when the screen is moving quickly and in fights when I am in game. When outside of gaming, something as simple as clicking the Youtube video or changing something quickly will cause my computer to slow to a halt for a few seconds. However, I do not see any of these frame drops in other games that are more demanding for instance Forza Horizon 5.
My specs are listed below along with the steps tried.

I am sure I am forgetting some steps as I have been troubleshooting this for over a year. But, if anyone has any suggestions, please send them my way!

Can you try to downgrade to driver version 24.8.1 or 24.5.1 or try to disable hardware accelerated GPU scheduling or try to disable SAM or try to disable MPO?
Hi, thank you for the response! After double-checking and following your recommended steps it looks like its a bit of the same, unfortunately. I should also state I did not install Adrenaline this time and only installed the driver.
I tested it a couple of ways all done within League of Legends with settings at Medium-High. I have always ran at High but figured I would test with lower settings to reduce some of the labor on the card.

You may have already done this, but make sure to update your bios to the latest version if you haven't done so.
I had similar issues with my cpu (same as yours r5 5600x) ,and updating my bios version to the latest did me wonders. There was some talk about multiple instability issues with Ryzen 5 series cpus , mostly fixed after multiple bios updates.
Also, your GPU driver is kinda meh , update to the latest and see what happens, i was on 24.5.1 and updating to 24.12.1 was a better experience
Finally, so we can solve this problem for good (in case non of the previous steps solve anything), i assume that LOL uses DX11 isn't it, then we may try to replace dxnavi DX11 drivers with the legacy ones using AnWave tools:
https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/anwave-2024-amd-radeon-software-customize-setup-advanced-cleanup-u...
This is the best way to solve all DX11 problems (As it did with mine especially with UE games) and achieve the best stability , it only works on RDNA2 cards and below, so your card is compatible.
Hope that solves your problem, Best of luck
Hello there mate, I have pretty much the same problem with the other guy rx 7800 xt GPU, Ryzen 5 7500 CPU, Motherboard b650 eagle ax.
I have tried everything even installing the latest bios for my motherboard which is the F32g version but I still have big stutters. I cant enable with the Anwave programm the legacy drivers. Is there any other way ?
Thanks in advance
I got pretty much the same issue without the fps drops. Maybe because I have a brand new system..I thought it was my internet connection and I have like 2 days now starlink but pretty much the same thing.. Any ideas on how to fix that shiit with league of legends? Game is unplaybale on big fights
