At this I don’t know what else I can do.
I’m using integrated graphics on my Ryzen 5 5600g and I’ve downloaded display drivers through the AMD Adrenaline software but they don’t work properly and make the computer unusable. They cause only half of the screen to be used and gives it a pink tint.
I’ve tried reinstalling them but the problem persists.
Disabling the driver “fixes” the problem but it makes the computer so slow that just moving my cursor looks like a slideshow.
What troubleshooting steps should I follow?
Thanks.
Most probably it's the cable/monitor issue. To debug, with AMD driver, try to reduce refresh rate to 60Hz and native resolution.
It’s definitely a monitor/cable issue however the highest frequency the monitor will work normally at now is 30hz using 1080p. Do you know any fixes?
no idea why this is happening, but if it is a 60hz monitor can you try creating a custom resolution in the AMD software with 59hz 1080p? Set the timing to CVT instead of manual, refresh rate to 59hz, resolution should be set at 1920x1080 and click save. then go select the 59hz option that should be in windows advanced display settings
What is make/spec of monitor?
Sometimes back, I had seemingly good hdmi cable, but would back screen at 100hz (default determined by driver). My fix was to use shorter cable.
1. If possible, try an DP port cable.
2. Disable FreeSyn/Gsync (in Monitor settings not Windows) till other parameters stabilize, latter you can reenable.
