Right so my feeling was it could be the Instant replay being enabled that is making this game run badly, surprise surprise it was since I had FIFA 23 crashing with the Instant replay enabled at the launch last time.
So for anyone else buying FIFA 24( FC 24) make sure you don't have instant replay enabled before you go into the game, unless you want all the menus loading slow lol
Even when it was laggy the gameplay looked fine but the menus are awful if replay is on
