Every update of AMD Software disables Smart Access Memory
I don't know exactly when it started but it has been happening to me for a while, at least half a year.
The issue is that whenever i let the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition update itself and restart the computer, the SAM setting says "Unsupported feature", despite it being correctly enabled in BIOS settings.
The only way to make it work again is to
- go to BIOS, disable Resizable Bar support
- boot into Windows
- go to BIOS again, re-enable Resizable Bar support
- boot into Windows and wait for "Hardware configuration has changed" pop-up message
- restart Windows one more time
That's 4 restarts required after every update, it's very annoying.
Please fix this.

DDU is an acronym for Download Display Driver Uninstaller.
Display Driver Uninstaller is a driver removal utility that can help you completely uninstall AMD/NVIDIA graphics card drivers and packages from your system, without leaving leftovers behind (including registry keys, folders and files, and driver store).
Tl;Dr it wipes everything GPU driver related so you can start fresh

I have the same issue and DDU (with it’s nuke-wipe option) and reinstalling Adrenaline (with the fully clear and reset to factory default option) doesn’t change anything.
Every driver update this happens.
