Error 1603 chipset driver for X 570

Hello,

I tried to install the latest chipset drivers (4.11.15.342 provided by AMD, or V407132243 provided by MSI, the manufacturer of my motherboard ROG X570).

Each time the installation fails and i have the same error message 1603.

I tried all the workaround i found on support forums:

* Uninstall previous AMD driver using windows Apps and programs interface.

* Turn off my antivirus software

* Delete AMD folder in C: and all temporary files

* Check that i have no available updates for windows (now Win 11 pro ; 10.0.22638 build 22638.1000)

* Uninstall all Visual C++ version i had, and re-install the latest 2015-2022 X64 v14.34.31931

* As administrator: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and SFC /SCANNOW . Both commands run normally and return no error

* In task manager killed most of non essential program i spoted before launching the AMD chipset driver install

... and of course I made multiple re-tries and reboots between those steps.

Can you help me, what should i do? I have no idea what AMD driver version is used on my system right now, since i desinstalled the previous one.

Of course i don't want to reset Windows 11, because AMD driver installation error is the only problem i suffer from

I made a support ticket for that problem a week ago, including the logs of the failed install, but had no replie...

Thank you for your help.

Many Users have had success in installing AMD Chip sets drivers by using Microsoft Install/Uninstall Tool from here: Microsoft Install/Uninstall Tool

Delete all Non-Graphics AMD Drivers and then try to install again and see if it installs successfully.
