I have a RX 6800 and have been using it with Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04 for years without issues.
Recently I upgraded to 24.04 and things started breaking (apt-get updates would fail as the AMD driver would not compile). After this I decided to check the AMD driver page only to see that there is only drivers listed for Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04.
When should we expect to see support for Ubuntu 24.04 and is there a short term solution to triage this other than reverting to an older (soon to be end of life OS)?
