I told my friend to update his Radeon Drivers, he went from 19.12.1 to the recommended 20.4, I guided him through it and made sure he did it correctly. After the update, he couldn’t go fullscreen in games (Fortnite, Valorant, Minecraft) without constant blackscreening. (The games work in windowed mode) After this, we tried;
DDU + driver reinstall
DDU + driver reinstall in safe mode
DDU + factory reset (of GPU) + driver reinstall in safe mode
Disabled Enhanced Sync
DDU + installed driver version he was on before
Factory Reset + Installed latest driver version
PSU power cycle + replugged pcie cables
And the problem still persists.
