I am getting a Ryzen 7950x and a X670-e Motherboard. I am pairing it with an Nvidia RTX 4060 Super. Will I need to install the AMD Adrenaline drivers for the CPU and motherboard chipset? Or will the AMD drivers conflict with the Nvidia drivers?
Solved! Go to Solution.
You'll need the chipset drivers but you don't need the Adrenalin software. You can use Ryzen Master if you want to tweak CPU settings.

chipset driver definitely...graphics not essential.
If you need/want to use the iGPU, the Ryzen will also necessarily work with the standard Windows drivers (720p)....yes, the graphics drivers can, but don't necessarily have to, come into conflict with the Nvidia drivers.

I have a similar question, would i need the Adrenalin software if I have a Ryzen 7 7700 with a Geforce rtx 4070. I have a ASRock 650M-C motherboard as well. Just curious if the Adrenalin is needed if I have integrated graphics. I've been searching for a few hours and cannot find a straight answer. I've been using MSI Afterburner to see CPU/GPU temps and usage. When I did try to uninstall Adrenalin I could no longer see my CPU temp/usage. So in this case i'm just really unsure what i should and shouldn't have. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
