Hey guys. To preface, I did some google searching and didn't find anything useful to my situation.
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon RX 580
Monitor in question: ViewSonic VA2265SMH
Randomly today, my computer decided it would no longer let me play audio through the monitor. The option for AMD HD High Definition Audio was gone from the sound part of the toolbar. After restarting my computer, it worked until my screen went to sleep, then it stopped working. However, the screen going to sleep doesn't seem to be the cause as sometimes restarting the computer doesn't fix the issue.
Things I've tried:
Going into sound settings and making disabled devices viewable.
Updating my graphics card drivers and updating Windows 10.
Restarting the "Windows Audio" service.
Restarting my computer. (temporary solution)
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
