I'm trying to set my screen to a custom resolution (1440x1080) i type it all in and then click save but for some reason it doesnt want to work. Can anyone help?

Try CRU (custom resolution utility) Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)

First you have to post your computer information including Make & model of Monitor and how it is connected with what version of Windows and make & Model of GPU card and AMD driver version.

Does Windows Settings - Display have that particular Resolution?

If not you can try a small free program to try and install a custom Resolution on your Monitor called Custom Resolution Utility (CRU).
