CPU temp metrics

Hey Team!
I remember in the previous versions of the Adrenaline software there was an option to monitor CPU temperatures and GHz.

I am using my machine a lot and I constantly monitor those metrics.
Is there a chance that we can see this utility in the upcoming updates?

It's very usefull!

Cheers!

1 Solution

Please update to the 24.6.1 driver, as this versions contains an updated version of the Ryzen Master SDK. This update may help anyone that had missing CPU metrics in AMD Software in earlier driver versions.

No issues here, all working.

Maybe supply system specs for someone to offer possible solution?

Can you list your system specs?

All necessary metrics should be there, if enabled visible in overlay settings.

I'm having the same bug since 24.6.1. All CPU metrics have disappeared, except for utilization percentage.

The latest 24.7.1 version doesn't fix this issue.

Agreed. Those that say the CPU metrics are there are probably NOT running 24.7.1. I can confirm that I have done multiple uninstalls and reinstalls and downgrades to 24.6.1 (which didn't have it either) to no avail. Only 24.5.1 and earlier have all of the CPU metrics. I've even installed the recommended SDK exe. This did NOT correct this issue. The metrics simply are not there anymore.

I just upgraded from 24.5.1 to 24.7.1 and I have additional CPU power metrics available now that weren't there before. (PPT, EDC, TDC) Do you have the latest Ryzen Master 2.13.1.3097 installed?

I do.

I have tried both a clean install using DDU and a factory reset and a "dirty" install of simply overlaying 24.5.1 with 24.7.1. The CPU metrics disappear when upgrading to 24.7.1 from 24.5.1.

My CPU is a Ryzen Threadripper 2950x running on a X399 chipset.

Very strange, not sure what else to suggest? I've never used DDU or clean install, always just do the in-place upgrade for drivers and software, running on Windows 10 Pro 22H2.

Perhaps it's a Windows 11 issue? I am running 22631.3951 (23H2)

hi rawintellect

I can't confirm this is related to win11, since I run win10 (22H2) and did also get the problem when upgrading from 24.5.1 to 24.7.1.

Downgrading to 24.6.1 did solve the problem (after reboot).

I do not have Ryzen Master installed, nor do I intend to, because I have no interest in tuning my CPU, I only want to see the CPU temp.

Has anybody seen release notes indicating that you need Ryzen Master to see CPU performance metrics other than CPU Util from ver 24.7.1 ?

Ah thank you for confirming it's not just Windows 11!

Window 10 here.

24.8.1 did not fix the bug, and I have the latest Ryzen Master SDK installed.

My bad its on russian, but basics i hope is understandable. Before update i had cpu metrics, after updating on last version, metrics has gone, but someone got the back. What i should do in this case?

My metrics were missing on any release pre 24.10.1. My metrics are back with 24.10.1. I suggest using DDU to completely uninstall your current driver and install 24.10.1 They are definitely working in that release.
