Hi, I need some help. I'm trying to set up an RX 9070XT as an eGpu through Oculink to pair with a GPD Win Max 2 (7840u) and a Minisforum Deg1 and an absolutely unnecessary 1300w Psu.
The card gets recognized and seems to work perfectly fine until it inevitably crashes, and Adrenalin tells me the Driver timed out.
Things that I tried to fix the issue:
- Remove the energy savings settings for Pcie devices
- DDU the drivers and reinstall them again
- install the driver only without adrenalin
- changed the registry for the windows video driver timeout delay to have more time
- disabled the Igpu (in windows, can't do in BIOS)
nothing made the trick.
any suggestion is welcome.
