I've been having issues installing new drivers on my GPU. I have had the XFX RX 580 GTS Black Edition 8GB for about 2 months and have had issues since a few weeks ago when installing drivers (starting with updating from 19.1.1 to 19.2.1). When I try to update, it gets to the "checking for new versions" screen of the updater, and then my computer completely freezes, requiring a hard reset. No BSOD is provided, so I do not have any error code from that. I ran DDU and even after that could not reinstall drivers, so I rolled back my windows install to when it worked properly. Now I still have the issue of not being able to update, and in addition have the issue that I can't open Radeon settings, though it is running and the icon appears in the task bar. I have tried the fixes in the "Fixes for common AMD graphics driver problems" thread and still have this problem, and have tried various installers for various versions of the software.
