I have two custom built workstations with AMD Ryzen 9 7950X and Threadripper Pro 7975WX running freshly installed Win 11 23H2 and it is impossible to install MS Office 2019 using the Office Deployment Tool. The only significant difference to my other clients I can make out is they are current gen AMD.

Installation process breaks at 58% with error 30088-4 und 0-2031 (17004) on both systems.

MS SaRA did not help, ODT is current, nether network nor local source does make a difference, disabling firewall and antivirus have no effect.

I'm at a loss. Does anyone have any ideas?

I have not found a solution, but you are the first person I've found that has the same issue, if that makes you feel any better. I've been looking/trying things for months, and I am still unable to get it to work. Threadripper Pro 5995WX, Win 11 Pro. I have two of them(Lenovo P620), and both have same issue. I gave up and installed an old copy of Office 2013 Pro in order to get my programs to work.

Can confirm, classic MS Office installation (like 2016) still work perfectly fine, but this only postpones the problem, as support for 2016 (and 2019) ends 10/2025 anyway and Click-to-run will be our only option left.
