CHG70 overshoot on RX 5700 XT sorted on latest driver
I’ve been dogged with terrible overshoot when enabling freesync ever since I bought the Samsung chg70 32inch monitor, I’ve paired it with a RTX 2060 and the RX 5700 XT, I wasn’t surprised the nvidia card didn’t work but was expecting the amd one to fair better, disappointedly it didn’t.
To my joy I installed the latest driver (19.12.1) last night and the terrible overshoot seems to have been sorted, can anyone else confirm this? The only issue I’m having is HDR not resetting itself when I leave a hdr game and go back to windows. (Apart from the usual Adrenalin instabilities)

If it's relevant to anyone
I7 7700k cpu
Asus z270 prime a motherboard
32gb Corsair vengence 3200hz ram
Samsung 970 pro nvme
Latest build windows 10 home
I'm still experiencing stutter on older games like skyrim or dead rising 2 but I can live with that given thier age and cant really expect a new card to prioratize compatability with old games.
