Cannot install Win10 driver for Radeon 8870M on Dell Inspiron 17 i7 3737 (freezes)

I cannot install a driver for my Radeon 8870M in Windows 10 on my Dell Inspiron 17 i7 3737. It is a fresh install. If just freezes during installation needing a hard reboot. I have tried:

  1. "Video_Driver_8J5GW_WN32_20.19.15.4531_A04" from Dell Web Site. Intel HD family installs successfully.   
  2. "win10-64bit-radeon-software-adrenalin-2019-edition-19.4.1-apr3" after freezing, it requites windows to be reinstalled as it cannot reboot.
  3. "radeon-software-adrenalin-2019-19.4.1-minimalsetup-190403_web" Auto detect freezes at about 79%. It will allow hard reboot.
  4. "Video_Driver_6YKW1_WN32_15.201.1101_A01" from Dell Web Site. freezes about 20 seconds into install. It will allow hard reboot.

Please assist. Are there any other drivers I can try?

have you found a solution?

I have the same issue. 

I have a Dell Precision 7510 with Intel 530 graphics onboard and AMD Radeon W5170M card installed, win10 latest edition and uefi (last Dell bios firmware).

I successfully installed the Intel 530 driver.

When I try to install the Radeon AMD driver, the Win10 stops working/freeze.

 

Is it a driver issue or is the Radeon card fault?
