I have had this problem since I bought my laptop. Every time I try to play a game, the game creates a black screen, but the sound still works. now the funny part is that when I formatted my pc to windows 7 or 8.1(in Windows 10 Automatically installing your drivers) , when the drivers are not installed the game is not output'ing a black screen and after the driver is installed it stops working.
the games were Counter Strike Source , Pay Day , Undertale and FarCry were maybe more
P.S: my laptop's Graphics Processing Unit is a legacy product and not getting driver updates, same drivers are for windows 7 8.1 and 10
UPDATE: The solution is to install Display Driver Uninstaller, then boot into safe mode and then uninstall the drivers. this solution is for people who can't format their computer or are too lazy to format it.
