Hello,

So I just moved my GPU to a different PCI slot for airflow reasons. After doing that, I installed the latest optional AMD drivers with factory reset. After that, sound through HDMI has stopped working properly. I can't play music through MusicBee and games play sound a little, but produce no sound most of the time. It seems to be stuttering. Audio playback works fine if I output to my headphones and the TV has no issues that I know of.

I've spent an hour or two troubleshooting. My drivers seem to be fine and I've rolled back to 20.2.2, but it didn't solve anything. Below is a screeshot of my current driver configuration.

Any help would be appreciated.

I get that with my Sapphire RX 480 which suggests a driver problem.

Try shutting it down and remove the CMOS battery for a few minutes...

I used clr cmos on my motherboard, ran setup and it didn't solve anything. Perhaps you were suggesting I do that with the GPU?

No I was suggesting the motherboard...worth a shot..
