Attaching a Radeon RX 7800 XT as an eGPU to a laptop with built-in Radeon graphics results in a BSoD

When I try to attach a Radeon RX 7800 XT as an eGPU using the Razer Core X Chroma to a Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 with both an integrated AMD Radeon 680M graphics and a discrete AMD Radeon RX6500M graphics card, it results in a BSoD. The error stop code is SYSTEM_THREAD_EXEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.

So, I am trying to add a third AMD Radeon graphics card. If I boot the computer with the Radeon RX 7800 XT connected as the eGPU, the external display is the only active display and there is an error on the bulit-in AMD Radeon 680M graphics in the Windows Device Manager. So, I guess the eGPU setup is working fine, but there is an AMD Radeon graphics card driver issue.

To test further, I tried to install a nVidia GeForce graphics card in the eGPU enclosure, and this setup works perfectly, as I thought it would, with both the built-in AMD Radeon graphics cards running the built-in laptop display and the external display running on the nVidia GeForce as an eGPU.

Should I consider bying a nVidea GeForce graphics instead???

My computer setup: Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 Gen1 (BIOS version 1.63), AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 6850H, Radeon RX 6500M (bulit-in discrete), AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT, Razer Core X Chroma eGPU enclosure, Windows 11 Pro (23H2 Build: 22631.2715), AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 23.11.1 and the AMD Chipset Software 4.06.10.651.

Additional information. I have tried the whole rutine of removing all the drivers using the AMD Cleanup Utility and installing all the AMD drivers from scratch. Still the same result with the BSoD when attaching the Radeon RX 7800 XT as an eGPU.

Update 2! Tried attaching the Radeon RX 7800 XT as the eGPU to a laptop with an Intel CPU and built-in Intel graphics, and the RX 7800 XT worked as a charm. So, after doing the troubleshooting, I come to the conclusion that the built-in and discrete graphics cards in my ThinkPad Z16 laptop is somehow conflicting with the RX 7800 XT. I have one more test I want to try out, attaching the RX 7800 XT to an AMD-based laptop with only a single built-in graphics card like the Radeon 660M/680M.
