looks like your GPU is faulty - or your PSU

try to clean GPU

try with lower clocks

try to switch to different pcie port - try to clean those ports with compressed-air-spray etc

Hello,

Can you please give us details about the rest of the rig, cpu, mb, psu,os, etc?
Your rig T° are ok, cpu/gpu?
Can you please specify the game that brought you this error, it is one game in particular or with all the games/programs?

To me it seems a drivers issue not being happy with some games/program.
Try to download DDU, clean the AMD driver and install a previous driver version.
Check if the error is persist, if yes try even more older drivers.

HD6970 latest driver is 16.2.1 beta for NON-GCN AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.2.1 Beta for Non GCN Products Release Notes
or latest legacy-driver
