I have an asus tuf a16 I currently have downloaded the drivers from https://www.amd.com/en/support And when I unplug my laptop my dgpu stops working. When plugged into power it works fine and when I boot the computer without power connected It works fine until I plug it in and unplug it. I want newer drivers becuase the ones on https://www.asus.com/laptops/for-gaming/tuf-gaming/asus-tuf-gaming-a16-advantage-edition-2023/helpde... are our of date please help.

Does your dGPU work while unplugged with the old drivers?

AFAIK it's pretty common for laptops to require the power cable to run the dGPU / at full power.

You may want to look into Windows Power settings for any battery / dGPU related settings.
