I recently bought my cousin a pre-built gaming PC ,
it didn’t come with the GPU drivers installed that should’ve been my first red flag, however after driving 80 miles there and back over two trips I didn’t want to return to the seller a third time, the specs are as follows;
Processor Intel i5- 4th gen
MSI - 4 Motherboard
Corsair TX 650 Watt PSU Bronze rated 80+
ASUS AMD Radeon R9 280x 3GB
When installing the graphics driver I get a blank screen and have to reboot to safe mode and uninstall the driver, I have been trying for 3 days to install the drivers to no avail, I’ve tried compatibility mode in windows 8, disabling Firewalls, using DDU from safe mode, I’ve even opened the machine and checked the connection to the PSU (both green lights are active on the GPU) please help with this issue before I spend more money on a new graphics card,
