Once again, I encountered a black screen while everything else continued running in the background (Discord still working) after updating my AMD drivers.
I've been a loyal Nvidia user since I started gaming. I tried AMD once and, after this experience, I can confidently say I will never buy an AMD product again.
Why should I feel anxious about updating my drivers? Why do newer driver versions often create more problems than they solve?
On top of that, why does the AMD panel have so many complicated settings? I shouldn’t have to spend hours figuring out which configurations are optimal for every single game.
I’m switching back to Nvidia’s straightforward "plug-and-play" philosophy. From now on, I’ll actively recommend everyone around me to steer clear of AMD.
