before you say it, yes I did try to roll back the drivers and it did nothing.
Soo, I recently reinstalled the amd Adrenaline software, and with it, the 21.6.1 driver, followed by a bunch of new problems. first of all, my Games do be stuttering now. The FPS shows me a "normal" Framerate, for example 120 in Guild Wars 2, but it feels more like 10 to 20. Then there is one issue specific to GW2, it's when I open up a certain Interface, the stuttering intensifies, and weirdly enough, my windows taskbar begins to flicker on my second screen, like, turn invisible, and visible, over and over again, for like a second or 2. I did try to bug the GW2 support team, thinking at first, it was a GW2 issue, since I hadn't tried any other games yet, but they weren't of any help.
Here is a list of things I tried already:
-roll back drivers. tried a few previous stable versions, not just one.
-uninstalling windows updates
-reinstalling GW2, redundant
-Run a virus scan
-cleaning my autostart processes and programs
-winsock reset
-System file checker
-check CPU/GPU temps on heavy use... all normal
-run a HijackThis scan, and send it to the GW2 plebs for their reading pleasure
My Specs:
GPU: Radeon RX 580 8gb
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
Mainboard: Gigabyte B450 AORUS ELITE
RAM: 16gb dualchannel Sticks, I don't remember the manufacturer, and I'm to lazy, to look through my glass pane of my case
Update: installed 21.7.1, aaaaaand it did nothing...
