Hi, I started the AMDuProf timechart command for system-wide power profiling, and then attempted to run an accelerated Gstreamer pipeline inside a docker container but the AMDuProf Profiler just stops working each time. I tried multiple times and this issue always persists.
In an attempt to solve this, I tried running the Gstreamer pipeline natively and for some reason, the AMDuProf Power Profiler works normally.
Anyone here has any idea on why this happens? Is there an issue when running AMDuProf with docker containers specifically?
Useful notes for versions I'm using:
- AMDuProf version: 3.6.449
- OS: Ubuntu 20.04
- Command: timechart --verbose 1 --event Power --system-wide --interval 100 --duration 200
