Uhhhhhhh, Where's the game support for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2? It's a AAA and very popular game with over 200k players on steam... Like what's even going on... Avowed is on the list and it doesn't even come out for a week.... KCD 2 has been out for a week already... Come on guys... really...
And why are all these updates "Optional" why are they not going onto my Adrenalin app, i don't want to have to come here to download them. This is ridiculous.
They are not windows certified. Its not hard. Its also why your Adrenalin app says your up to date.
Relax dude. You dont HAVE to use them. And when they are certified, your adrenalin app will say. Chill your **bleep**. Nvida, and Intel does the same **bleep** thing.
Uhh no they don't... lol. They have gotten about 6 recommended driver updates verses our 1.... How does that even make sense... Games like KCD 2 , and PoE 2 haven't even gotten looked at by AMD. They need to be certified faster. But Cope as much as you want.
Cert comes from windows. Period. Its why its "optional" and not recommended at the time. MOBO makers do the same thing dude. Its not cope, its not being brain dead, and a baby. Ill just block you, so i do not get dumber reading the stupid **bleep** you say. Cheers.
Every game does not require a driver to mention support or need driver "support". I saw this same ridiculous argument for nvidia drivers. 3D modeling is very complex and sometimes game devs don't do it optimally. That's where amd/nvidia can step in and one-off some driver optimization if the dev didn't mess it up totally. If it's a sponsored game, they may even provide dev resources. But if the game dev does a good job, there isn't some magic dust to sprinkle and make it run better.
When AMD specific options such as FSR, are making my game run worse. It's 100% the drivers. Are you guys even listening to yourselves? Definition of Cope.
"Cope"
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means
Inconceivable!
Nobody is coping. It sounds like hearing that a game is certified makes you feel better about things. Thats more of a sugar pill scenario. Like you probably think a game will run better just because the name shows up. This game is running on an older and solid game engine. Not all games need AMD to step in and make changes. You will typically see them step in and address the popular ones that have a ton of problems or performance issues. Meanwhile Kingdom Come Deliverance II is upsetting a lot of people, but it isn't for the reasons you are describing. People are upset the game looks so great and runs so well on mid-tier graphics cards. It is upsetting because there are other newer games that don't look as great yet require significantly better video cards.
As for your issue with FSR... first let's get to what you should have learned in science, chemistry, critical thinking, psychology and sociology. Correlation does not imply causation. Somehow with a single data point you assume that FSR is broken in the driver for this game. If that is true its on a card to card basis or it is caused by multiple variables combined and might not actually be KCD2 only.
The reason I say that is because FSR works fine on my PC but the variables between my PC and your PC are going to be gigantic. Monitors, CPUs, Memory, FreeSync Version, Card Generation, FSR Settings you selected and so on.
I'm running a 7800XT Nitro+ OC'd it performs on par with a stock 7900GRE. I can run the game on 4K Ultra with shadows set to high and get 70FPS with FSR set to NATIVE. I would NOT recommend using anything but NATIVE on this game. Just use 1440P or 1080P if you cant run 4k. The game looks gorgeous at 1080P.
NVIDIA is NOT AMD and AMD is NOT NVIDIA. Stop comparing them.
Did AMD add support for Until Dawn in their previous drivers? After installing the game I have to add it manually through the Adrenalin software...
Anti-Lag makes Helldivers 2 stutter alot. I'm reverting to drivers 24.12.
Where is KCD2 support? It is not even an Nvidia sponsored game. It is out for a week and STILL has no game ready drivers.
Still not fixed for delta force
I'm wating too...
Civ Vii might have an AMD only problem with square lines on the map. Happened with 24.12.1 and it happens with this driver.
Diablo IV seems to be a bit stuttery with these drivers. According to the ingame framerate it's sitting at a steady 60fps but there are noticeable stutters. 5800x+rx6900XT+Samsung 980 Pro 2TB+64Gb DDR4 on Crosshair Dark Hero VIII with Windows 10. Running on a freesync monitor capable of 150Hz.
well still cannot run FF7 rebirth with this new driver on 680M
FYI, it runs great with SteamOS clones(Bazzite, ChimeraOS) on 680M UMPC
as I mentioned last time, I think it's not HW issue.
OK it's getting more weird
I have 2 6800U UMPC(GPD MAX 2 / One X player mini)
and I was sick of SteamOS clones so I returned to WIN 11 on OXP
then ta-da
FF7 rebirth suddenly started to working on OXP 6800U, WIN 11
and still not working on WIN MAX
I found there's 1 difference - D3D API version
OXP supports 12_2, MAX not.
funny thing is, MAX's WIN 11 is latest version - updated today
if I can do reinstall whole DX12 things from my WIN MAX
that might be help but no way to do it..
FYI, top one is GPD Win MAX, bottom one is OXP. check D3D API Version.
AMD drivers for newest games are non-existent.
KCD2 driver probably will be in 3-6 months when everyone forget about this game.
7900 XTX perfrormance in KCD2 is FAR FAR FAR FAR for being ideal its kinda like 7900 XT.
Im tired of this AMD card.
Hi Everyone!
VR issues has been solved? especially in Iracing?
I just bought the 7900 xtx, and im planning to return it as i saw all the videos and content saying that AMD is sucking at VR comparing to Nvidia.
This would be my first AMD card ever, but seems i got bad luck in choosing this one.
;(
Please guys enlight me.
Thanks in advance.
Att,
I've been playing alot of VR recently on 7900 XTX and found no issues what so ever. H3VR, No Man's Sky, Battle Talent, Beat Saber and some other.
But as far as I know iRacing doesn't want to implement AMD integrations so there is a chance that 7900 XTX might not be the best choice for that game in particular IF you consider playing it in VR or in multi - screen setup
Support Path of Exile 1 and 2 please.
Could you PLEASE GET RID of the Fan OFF in the Performance - TUNING tab or at least DEFAULT TO having it OFF. It seems that it does not turn the fans back on all the time and causes faults which RESET this to back on. It causes people's PCs to overheat. Please have FAN off as disabled
Where do you download the optional updates from. I can’t seem to find them to download load them?
I do have an issue with the 35-2-1 drivers as well though, on my RX 7900GRE, after I get them installed, the fans turn off, but when I restart the system, The fans turn on to maximum speed, and the computer crashes, so I have to return to the previous drivers, and now I can't get them (the previous drivers) to install correctly. I may have to refresh my windows install to get back to a working system.
I meant the 25.2.1 drivers, me bad.
