What to Know

AMD Radeon™ Anti-Lag 2

Known Issues

• Virtual Super Resolution or Display Color Enhancements may be set to disabled after driver upgrade. [Resolution targeted for 24.7.1]
• Corruption may be observed while playing Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition with Radeon™ Boost enabled. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to disable Radeon™ Boost as a temporary workaround.

Dayz still runs, though. KH is completely unplayable.

No, it's LITERALLY unplayable. I couldn't play Kingdom Hearts even if I wanted to.

A game that doesn't function at all takes precedent over a game with poor performance.

hahaha funny no its been broken since the card released, The game did exist on epic and the game breaking issues have been going on there for a while aswell. Nothings come out of it though.

The first mention of problems with dayz appeared in 2013. even on HD series cards.
AMD wrote me back and they were supposed to fix it, but the problem was not even added to the list of known issues. BTW - Did you use the amd bug report tool to report kingdom hearts?

I had to go back to 24.5.1 due to heavy artifacting in Rust. It started immediately after I updated to 24.6.1. When I first saw it I feared the worst, dying GPU / VRAM. It only happens in Rust though thankfully. I have seen others report this as well. It appears to be some kind of lighting anomaly. The artifacts are like transparent blocks that are brighter than the rest of the screen around them. They don't change the part of the screen they are occupying though, like a typical failing vram artifact would. They just brighten it. I don't know how else to explain it. They wouldn't show up in screenshots and I already used the AMD Cleanup Utility to wipe 24.6.1 and re-installed 24.5.1.

I am running a 5700X3D w/ 32gb DDR4 3800, B550 motherboard, Asrock PG 7900XT.

I'm getting coil whine on this update just sitting idle on my desktop, moving windows around, scrolling my browser. 

Downgrading to 24.5.1 gets rid of the coil whine and I can live in silence again.

AMD please fix.

I have to say, i bought this card over a 4090 and have never felt so much buyers remorse in my life. This has been the worst experience ive ever had with a gaming system. I will be going to  micro center to hopefully be trading in this worthless graphics card that is the most overpriced paper weight ive ever paid for. This is my 3rd full week ive had to deal with garbage drivers and for anyone wondering if nvidia is better, GO! RUN! GO GET A 1060 a 01! When i mean anything other then this garbage asus 7900 xtx. Save yourself the annoying, disgrace that this card is! Ive had this card for 3 months and 2 of them have been a dust collecting piece of garbage.

I have the same issue when starting Elite Dangerous with this driver. This may be happening for most DX11 games.

What a disaster for EASports FC24. In concrete terms, it's unplayable; the game no longer responds, everything is laggy and loading is laggy. In short, it just doesn't work.
I downgraded to the previous version: it was Forza Horizon 5 that refused to start (after reinitialization, complete reinstallation, nothing helped). I've gone back to the current version, I'm giving up on FIFA. A fix, please...

With this new driver on my 7900xt when I start Elite Dangerous it resets my PC. Not even a driver timeout, just hard reset. I just cannot start the game. I will have to roll back the driver yet again.

26.6.1 cause boot hang to my system. I must press start after every boot. After restart, my PC works fine, but thats really annoying. So i rolled back to 24.4.1

I am NOT abled to upgrade directly from AMD Software, because there is NO button available to upgrade. Why do I always have to search for the new software on AMD's driverpage?

It's better to download drivers from amd website using DDU or amd cleaning tool.

Because AMD cannot build a proper installer and you have to use a 3rd party tool to have the drivers updated correctly.

Now with 24.6.1 I have blue screen on most of games with DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Anyone else has the same issue?

Yes, exactly the same. It sometimes reboots before the message comes up. 24.4.1 were okay, but whenever I try to reinstall to earlier version, it is somehow fudged and temperature/clock reading doesn't work in MSI Afterburner or Argus monitor. Even games like Forza Horizon 5 complain, that the driver version cannot be read. How to downgrade properly? Uninstallation just triggers windows update and some older driver is installed automatically.

In this update, the issue of Armoury Crate not recognizing the graphics card still hasn't been resolved. I know the problem is with the AMD Software Edition because when I revert to versions like 23.11.1, the graphics card appears in Armoury Crate. Could the fact that AMD Vega technology cards haven't received updates since the 24.1.1 update be a factor? Because the integrated graphics card technology of a laptop with a 5900HX processor and 6800M graphics card is Vega, while the 6800M is RDNA2. I wish I could try updating them separately.

Sad by Hyper-V GPU-P no more recognizing AMD encoder to use Parsec or OBS H.264/H.265 on my RX 6800XT. Previous driver works perfectly. I hope than next update back to works.

Hi , I cannot use new driver destiny 2 works just bad lag , frame drop. But most important orca slicer 2.1.1 is

impossible to use  in prepare I got black screen no table and model. When I reinstall driver for 24.5 all back to normal.

Rollback to 24.5.1

How fix that?

We need more WSL-ROCM support for other graphics cards! One of the things that your competitor NVIDIA is most praised for by consumers is the power of their drivers to support older graphics cards, especially the AI features in them. I'm a long time fan of AMD and I wish AMD would do a better job with AI support.

Please fix the 7900xtx. I made the choice of splurging extra money for this card and ive been non-stop crashing the last few updates. i see others are having the same issue. my only question is how it this not being looked into for the 7000 series? Im crashing, while not running any amd adrenaline modes, on Ark Ascended, Gunfire Reborn, and 7 Days to die. even just a confirmation that its being checked out would be nice. please fix.

I wouldn't bet on getting any confirmation for that. I've been waiting for 6 months for them to fix the **bleep** thing, and all they do is add new features and don't bother fixing AFMF which is clearly faulty.

This driver crashes my system after exeting a gpu heavy game, tested with win10, and 11.

Reverting back to the March drivers fixed the issue.

7800x3d 7900xtx
