• Fixed Issues and Improvements

  • Lower than expected performance may be observed while using llama.cpp. This may also impact Ollama and LM Studio.
  • Texture corruption may appear while playing The Crew™ Motorfest.
  • System crash may be observed when first launching SteamVR while using Valve Index® at 144Hz on Radeon™ RX 6000 series graphics products.
  • Intermittent application freeze may be observed while loading a save file in Monster Hunter: World.
  • Intermittent application crash may be observed while playing Fortnite on Radeon™ RX 5000 series and above series graphics products.
  • H.264 encoding may not work as expected while using OBS Studio with Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting. 

Known Issues

• Intermittent driver timeout or crash may be observed while playing Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 on some AMD Graphics Products, such as the AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 HX 370. Users experiencing this issue can enable Variable Graphics Memory in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition as a temporary measure (AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition -> Performance -> Tuning -> Variable Graphics Memory).
• Intermittent stutter may be observed while playing Marvel Rivals when AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 3 frame generation is enabled. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to disable AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 3 frame generation in the per-game settings as a temporary workaround.
• After using the AMD Cleanup Utility for Windows®, the AMD Bug Report Tool may appear intermittently during a new driver install on AMD Ryzen™ 7000 and above series processors paired with AMD Graphics Products.
• HEVC encoding may not work as expected while using OBS Studio with Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting. 
• Limitations for Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL 2) support can be found  here.

As far as I know the RX580 isn't supported anymore and it's on Limited Support now, which means you may only get driver updates periodically. It is a 2017 card.

It is impressive how nowhere in the patch talk about the problem of blackscreens playing, I built my computer in the middle of September with a ryzen 5 5600x, a rx 7600 xt, source 750w gold, asus tuf gaming b450m-plus 2.
I am not able to play any game for more than 30 min or 4 hours, the game freezes and restarts the computer leaving me without video, I have been like this for 3 months now, I have tried all versions of their drivers and none of them work. I tried a thousand things and none of them fix the problem, please could you dedicate yourself to fix this problem? or even give importance to it.

Restarts are a sign of hardware failure, or depending on how you have windows configured, the restart could be a BSOD in windows and windows auto-restarts computer because MS figured that's better than showing BSOD that can confuse end user. You need to troubleshoot your issue and find the root of it. Considering that you built your PC, you probably have a bad OC or did not fully load test your components.

Does this company listen to the comments posted on this forum? From several versions ago until now, when you leave the laptop with the lid closed and the session locked (disabled the laptop to go into sleep or hibernation), when you come back after a few hours the adrenaline software has closed silently and the screen stays black, having to use the Windows shortcut to restart the graphics driver. I have a Lenovo AMD Advantage laptop with everything from the factory, no overclock or undervolt. Are you going to listen to us? @community_moderator @AMD-Vik

Hello, so it seems that the last driver update on my RX 6750 XT is bugged. I used the driver-only install from AMD website (as usual).

This time, my screen goes off after few minutes (less than 30 min I think) and I have to restart the computer, which then load the other GPU. I tried this driver 3 times and always see this problem.

My solution was to download the previous driver (from October, 18) and I have no problem now.

Guys when u gonna release a update for Fortnite. It's a another month with issue, where anybody can't use a new drivers because of error D3D12. Only 24.8.1 drivers works with Fortnite without any issue, that's a annoying. -_-

... weird this is happening around the holidays. Can anyone say demand booster? also, has anyone figued out how to get Fortnite to work with the new update? I close out the Dx12 error message and the game loads, but then it crashes after a few matches. My PC is also starting to give me a driver blocker notice? "a security setting is detecting this as a vulnerable driver and blocking it from loading."

Is the ADLX/AMD API broken in this version of the driver by chance? External Software Like Argus Monitor can no longer read temps after a clean install.

Extremely low GPU usage in cities. GTX 1050 performs better than rx 6700 xt. DAYZ IS  BROKEN FOR FCKING 2 YEARS!! FIX THIS!!!! Unplayble!! I regret buying the rx 6700 xt, I can't play the game!

May I know when will there be support for Dynamic Refresh Rate for the Radeon 780M iGPU? I have the ASUS G14 2024 model for close to a year now and it doesn't support DRR. Framework laptops had a similar issue and in October there was a driver update that fixed that problem. Possible to have a similar fix also for ASUS G14 2024 model?

When 24.12.1 Will it support Fortnite? No one has done anything about it since drivers 24.8.1. It's kind of ridiculous that we've gotten 4 driver updates that don't fix the D3D12 bug that prevents us from playing on new drivers.

Is anybody experiencing heavy flickering in cutscenes and gameplay in Horizon Forbidden West when using FSR native AA option? When switching to regular TAA the flickering is gone. Here are my system specs:

OS: Windows 11 x64 24H2

CPU: Intel Core i5 8400

MOBO: ASUS TUF Z370 PLUS Gaming

GPU: Radeon RX 7700 XT

RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 16GB 3200Mhz

SSD: WD Black SN750 1TB

The game is updated to the latest version from June of the last year (1.5.80.0) when FSR 3 was introduced for the first time in this game as well as it's native AA option. Any help would be welcome since I am not sure if it's a driver or game problem that is the issue...

P.S: Unfortunately this problems is also present when regular TAA is used, and I have noticed is that it primarily happens in areas where their a lot of light with sun rays being the worst when the flicker happens, as well sun rays constantly being broken. Some people in the past have said that the game could flicker if DLSS, XeSS or FSR were used, both not their native aa, I am still not sure what could be causing this problem

I usually don't speculate on trolling as it happens just about anywhere on the internet. But I agree, some are trolling, but I believe the majority of issues are user errors due to inexperience with PCs, while the minority are genuine issues with the drivers.

I've personally seen some real issues with drivers that I have reported as such. I have been building PCs since I was 12 in 1982 and most issues I encounter I can at the very least workaround until a solution could be found. Google is a helpful tool we didn't have in the days before the interwebs. Ha ha!
