AMD Sapphire Nitro+ 6700RX 12GB

Hi all! This is my first post here, so, sorry in advance lol.

I got myself this beauty like a month ago, I was using a 470 Sapphire (missing it a LOT). So, since day 1, I'm having like fps drops everytime, I tried reinstaling everything with DDU, still problem is there.

My PC specs:

Windows 10

16GB Ram HyperX

750 Watts Sentey PSU

Micro: Ryzen 5 1600 AF.

Maybe my micro isn't that powerful enough for my videocard?

Thanks!

Hey

yaaa your GC is really not the most powerfull
first... witch game/s ?

Is....

  1. Windows game-mode deactivated?
  2. amd community 28.07.22.jpgset valorant in win graphic settings to high performance
  3. In the "Energy Options" select the preset maximum performance
    open folder ->
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options
  4. open the taskmanager and set the processpriority set the process priority of valorant to "higher than normal" (you can also try to go one step higher, but it could happen that the game
crashes at some point -> restart the game and then
    just select "higher than normal")

  5. is the ssd/nvme on which the game/windows is installed possibly full?

  6. windows update disable auto update

  7. are your drives secured with bitlocker?

  8. Disable antivirus real-time protection.

  9. is overwolf ( valorant tracker), blitz or medal.tv installed and active
  10. is the game caputre mode active in any software?

  11. witch graphics driver do you use? (try 22.5.2 or 22.6.2! the new one is very buggy.")

  12. witch mouse do you use?

  13. 1, 2 or 3 monitors?

  14. cpu and graphic temps?

  15. windows version

countless threads are created every day in which any information is missing.

Hi Crystalyser and I'm sorry for the lack of information.

Here is the detail:

  1. Windows game-mode deactivated? Yes.
  2. set valorant in win graphic settings to high performance. Are you talking about the game? Because I don't play Valorant.
  3. In the "Energy Options" select the preset maximum performance
    open folder ->
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options. This preset was on.
  4. open the taskmanager and set the processpriority set the process priority of valorant to "higher than normal" (you can also try to go one step higher, but it could happen that the game
crashes at some point -> restart the game and then
just select "higher than normal") Again, I don't play Valorant.

  5. is the ssd/nvme on which the game/windows is installed possibly full? No, only one game is allocated on my SSD and it has more that 50% of its space available.

  6. windows update disable auto update? Yes, is disabled.

  7. are your drives secured with bitlocker? No.

  8. Disable antivirus real-time protection. Yes.

  9. is overwolf ( valorant tracker), blitz or medal.tv installed and active? Yes, but again, I'm not playing Valorant.
  10. is the game caputre mode active in any software? No.

  11. witch graphics driver do you use? (try 22.5.2 or 22.6.2! the new one is very buggy.") I'm using 22.6.1, 22.6.2 is not available for me, sadly.

  12. witch mouse do you use? Redragon.

  13. 1, 2 or 3 monitors? just 1, an old one, tbh.

  14. cpu and graphic temps?  GPU: 45º // CPU: 52.9

  15. windows version: Win 10 Pro, active with a key (not activation program used).

Again, is weird because with an old AMD video card, never had this problem. i.e: I play LoL, now its settings are all in medium and Adrenaline client suggests me to lower the video settings because its performance is "Marginal".

I'm really lost, could it be my micro? My rams? I have 16GB right now.

Thanks in advance!
