I edit with Vegas Pro 20, Resolve Studio 18, and a little with Hitfilm Pro 2021.3. Vegas and Resolve have latest updates, Win10 Pro 22H2
I recently upgraded my much over used RX480 bought new way back when, and gave it a nice retirement with replacing it with the RX 6700XT. I've tried various drivers to get the card to work with my editors to varying degrees of success.
The issue is with the different plugins I have, which include Newblue FX TotalFX 7, and FXHome Ignite Pro 5. Using 22.5.1, all works well, but upgrading to 22.11.2 WHQL, Ignite does not work in Vegas Pro causing black or distorted previews and NBFX Titler Pro 7 stops loading when it gets to the Library load. Back to 22.5.1, it loads and starts fine, and Ignite works as it should.
And I side note. With the RX480 playing a Steam game, America's Army, no problem with 22.5.1. With the 6700XT, I get a lot of "out of memory" issues. With Task Manager open to monitor the the computer, system RAM usage is about 1.5GB of 32GB total. GPU RAM is also at about 1.5GB, yet the game will crash. Wife playing with RX570 4GB has no problems.
It's frustrating trying to find the right driver to work with everything.
