I just bought a brand new MSI RX580 8GB OC GPU and I installed the AMD Radeon Adrenalin software, version 18.8.1. It was a clean installation and before I installed it, everything was working fine. However, now that I have installed it my PC freezes every 3 seconds or so for a split second. It's super annoying.
Things I have tried:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the AMD software
- Restarting my computer
- Removing the GPU and putting it back
- Tried using DDU in safe mode and that did not help. For now, I have downgraded to version 18.5.1 and that has no problems. So of anyone has a fix for this issue with 18.8.1 please let me know.
Nothing has worked and my machine is completely fine without it, but I have been told I need the software.
Does anyone have a fix?
