AMD DUAL GRAPHICS PROBLEM

Hola buenos días. Tengo un problema con el driver de mi tarjeta grafica, la APU y los monitores. Tengo dos monitores, uno que va conectado al ordenador por VGA y otro por HDMI, el problema reside en que la entrada VGA del PC pertenece a la APU y el HDMI pertenece a la tarjeta grafica, el problema se origina en que el driver original de la tarjeta grafica es CATALYST pero esta muy desfasado, en este driver existía una opción que podía desactivar, llamada dual graphics, y en el nuevo driver Radeon, no existe tal opción. Alguien me puede decir si hay alguna opción para poder utilizar los dos monitores a la vez, gracias.

Thanks for the partial information on your APU and GPU card.

If you have a A10-6800K APU Processor with HD8670D Integrated Graphics the last supported AMD Driver is from 2015/2016: https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-series-processors/amd-a10-series-apu-for-desktops/a10-6800k-r...

This includes all the A10 processors with HD8670D since you didn't mention the Make & Model of your APU Processor.

As for your r240 Discrete GPU Card, there are 2 with GPU Cards R5-240 and R7-240. Both use the last supported AMD Driver from 06/21/2021: https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-r7-series/amd-radeon-r7-200-series/amd-radeon-r7-...

If you are using your HD8670D Integrated Graphics you can't install any AMD driver newer than 2016 for both the IGPU and R?240 GPU cards.

If you install the latest R?240 AMD driver from 06/2021 it won't be compatible with your HD8670D so you would need to disable your IGPU and just use the R?240 GPU card.

Both IGPU and Discrete GPUs are not supported with AMD Driver updates.

Dual Graphics has been removed from Radeon Settings because now Windows Settings - Graphics takes care of that feature.

What are the Make & Model of your APU and Graphic card you have installed?

It is possible one or both are legacy -Non-Supported by AMD.
