AMD Drivers question
Hi All,
I'm interested in trying out a new mini pc, for example the Minisforum UM780 XTX.
For devices such as these, do you install AMD drivers from AMD, or from the OEM -- in this case Minisforum? If it's from the OEM, and they go out of business, does that mean the device is not capable of receiving future AMD driver updates?
Knowing this will help me decide whether instead to go the SFF PC route, where I can get display drivers from nVidia/AMD directly.
Thank you for your help.

You would get video drivers from AMD. The Minisforum UM780 XTX specifies that it uses the AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor which has integrated graphics (Radeon 780M), which are provided from AMD.
In the event they do go under, the bigger issue would be you'd likely never be able to update your BIOS in the unlikely and theoretical event the older BIOS causes some instability with newer AMD drivers. Probably won't honor any warranties if they go out of business, so there's also that.
