Hey guys I am using the AMD Radeon 5700 XT for my x64 bit desktop PC. I did a few things to get windows 11 compliant such as enabling TPM 2.0. However I tried to update my AMD driver for my GPU before and after launching windows update which had updates to the .NET framework and security.
I visited this site: https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-5700-series/amd-radeon-rx-5700-series/amd-radeon-...
so that I can install the driver for my 5700 XT for windows 10 and it wouldn't go through with either of the installs. So I downloaded the Auto-detect and install and it failed at the same spot. The program would install but the issue was in the screen following it. I tried doing windows 11 version and that also failed. It keeps telling me that I need to make sure I am on the most up to date OS in which I already made sure of as mentioned in the first part that I launched windows update and had to install 3 things.
I opened AMD Software: Adrenaline edition and went to my GPU settings and factory reset it. Then I uninstalled Adrenaline Edition hoping that this full reset would get rid of the error in the image below. Instead it did not and is giving me the same issue. Now I do not have the Adrenaline Edition software and cant update my GPU... I don't know what to do at this point.
Any help is appreciated. I hate that windows is trying to push us into windows 11, this issue didn't happen before and now here we are. AMD software can't understand I am on the correct OS for which I am installing this on.
