My AMD Chipset Software installation keeps failing. I had been using MSI's Live Update tool to update my drivers for years, which I now realize was stupid. The updates had apparently been failing without me realizing. So I go to do it manually and the update fails. I got the chipset drivers directly from AMD (and even tried once from MSI for good measure). I have linked the install log and summaries at the end of this post. I have uninstalled the AMD drivers from my computer and also used the Windows Uninstall troubleshooter that many people use to solve this problem. However, the install still fails. My CPU performance seems fine on benchmark tests. The only noticeable thing wrong is that my CPU always displays at 100% usage on task manager (if I close everything else on my computer in safe mode, it will show task manager as using 75% of the CPU). I'm trying to find solutions that avoid updating my BIOS, as I have never done it and am afraid of bricking my computer. Any suggestions are appreciated!
