Alt-Tab out of Apex Legends causes black screen that freezes my entire PC.

Hello,

When Alt-Tabbing or switching to my second monitor from Apex Legends (running in fullscreen mode) both my monitors go black (not lost signal) and an audio loop begins. My PC goes completely unresponsive and I have to hold my PC's power button to turn it off. After turning the PC back on, there's no error and it boots just like normal

This has only happened 2 times out of hundreds and I can't find anyone else with a similar issue.

I've done the basic solutions like reinstall the game, wipe and reinstall drivers.

Max temp while playing Apex was 72 degrees celsius (usually around 65-70).

I'm running the latest drivers (the optional ones as I had this same issue with the "stable" ones).

This hasn't happened in any other games apart from Apex Legends (so I'll be posting on their forums too).

My specs:

CPU: i5-7400 @3GHz

GPU: Radeon RX 590 by GIGABYTE (all stock settings apart from an edit to my fan curve)

Memory: 2x 8GB DDR4 @2400MHz

OS running on: SanDisk Ultra 3D 256GB SSD (SATA)

Games running on: 2TB Barracuda HDD

Motherboard: ASUS H110M-R with UEFI

Running on a BIOS from August 2017 (will only update if necessary)

Running the latest Windows 10 updates.

If you need any extra info, I will post it.

Thanks.

I use the latest BIOS on all of my machines primarily as 9/10 of them are bug fixes

Try Apex with one screen and it should be fine. I have seen some common.
