All adrenalin drivers after 24.8.1 gives much worse performance in Horizon forbidden west

Hi,

All adrenalin drivers that came after 24.8.1 have poor performance in Horizon forbidden west. That includes 24.9.1, 24.10.1 and 24.12.1. I'm loosing like 15% + performance. Tested with RX 6700 XT, 7700 XT and 7800 XT. Tried clean installs or upgrade installs. Makes no difference. If I go back to 24.8.1 or older performance is up 15% or more again. Tried as old as 24.5.1 drivers.

 

Is this something the driver team is aware of? If not, maybe you could look into it?

agree, I already downgraded the driver to version 24.8.1 to play delta force without stuttering, I'm waiting for the new version 25.1.1 which will be released soon. I hope 25.1.1 will fix the problem.
