Radeon 7900 xtx crashes in certain games
Hello!
I recently built my pc and have only played a handful of games, and in some of them, the game crashes.
Recently it was suggested to me that I reverted back to the 23.12.1 driver and I was running very smooth for a couple of weeks. This was until I got the notification that my GPU no longer supported that driver and had me update to the latest edition.
I immediately started experiencing issues again. I feel rather dejected but very willing to learn with the help of the community.
game examples and build are below.
- Destiny 2 - Crashes after 5-10 minutes
- Valorant - Runs just fine
- Halo Infinite - Crashes after 5 - 10 minutes
My set up includes
- Ryzen 7800 x3d
- Radeon 7900 xtx
- MAG MSI B650 Tomohawk motherboard
- 2 sticks of 16GB 6000MHZ RAM
- Corsair 1000W PSU
- Running windows 11
I have re seated the GPU before.
The temps also seem to be running just fine as I have monitored them before crashes. I also provided a picture as to what the specs looked like leading up to the crash!
Any idea as to what could be the problem?
