7900 XTX and nVidia Shield TV Pro -> AMD Link not connecting

I've been using GameStream with nVidia cards for a long time with the nVidia Shield TV Pro. Now I've a brand new 7900 XTX so that's out of the question, but I cannot seem to get the AMD Link to work at all which is AFAIK supposed to do the same thing.

* The 7900 XTX is on a Windows 10 computer that's running the AMD Link server (server enabled through Adrenalin settings)
* I'm in a single subnet LAN
* I initially did not have uPNP enabled and the AMD Link informed it cannot find the router
* AMD Link log informs that connection is successful to the router - everything should work
* Windows Firewall is disabled; router firewall is disabled
* I have tried a full driver re-install; same results
* I installed the AMD Link -app on iPad -> exact same results

Within AMD Link -tab in Adrenalin, all of the Stream-related settings are greyed out (Stream resolution, Video Encoding Type, FPS, Video Bitrate). Why?

When I launch the nVidia Shield TV Pro (latest firmware), it finds the computer on the list (or I can use IP and it connects to it), but it always asks for PIN and is unable to connect with it. It shouldn't even ask it but it does. By opening the "server pin"-selection from host PC and entering the pin it simply instantly "connection times out".

This is even if I disabled the PIN (approve all connections) - it still keeps asking the PIN every time and it will not work no matter what I do.

What on earth should I try here?

Using Steam works but the image quality seemed pretty terrible vs Gamestream.

Or something related to remote connections? I can access the PC perfectly with eg. Splashtop Streamer from iPad.
