I have a 7800xt that somehow won't even be used 1% in games, like cs2, and valorant (Valorant doesn't even start, just freezes) and elden ring. They all always switch to the integrated graphics, I have tried like 100 different solutions. The only solution that I know is reverting back to old drivers (Adrenalin 24.1.1 7900xt) and uninstalling all windows updates after feburary 2024. The thing is, I need to update my **bleep** **bleep**ing windows and drivers, and it's annoying.
- AMD Graphics Card Make & Model
- 7800xt, sapphire
- AMD Raphael - Internal GPU [AMD],
- Operating System
- Windows 10 home 64bit 22h2
- Driver version installed
- Display Make and model and connection/adapter in use, resolution, and refresh rate.
- This aint that deep but 1440p and alienware smth monitor
- CPU/APU Make and model number
- Motherboard Make & Model + Bios Revision
- ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2, bios updated dw
- Power Supply Unit Make & Model + Wattage
- Seasonic Focus 750W Platinum
- System Memory Make & Model + Frequency
- idk but its CL32 6000mhz 32gb
- Edit: I'd also like to add that my GPU is not reconginzed when I try to switch to the discrete graphics, with only integrated gpu or cpu whatever being the only option. I have turned off integrated cpus but then games won't even start. The funny thing is that my 7800xt works on Fortnite and Marvel Rivals.
- Edit 2: Solved. For anyone having the same issue, just plug the hdmi / DP cable into the gpu and it will work lmao.
