6800XT Ubuntu 20.04.2 (Kernel 5.8.0.44) does not work
Is there any chance to get this combination working - at least somehow? I understood that installing the official driver might not work. Now I'm sitting here with a brand new card and extremely low resolution. Is there any alternative (non-proprietary) driver which works so that I can at least boot Ubuntu with native resolution? (yea I know- I should have done some research before buying the card). Really bad customer experience.
EDIT: Being not a linux expert: Can I somehow configure my installed system the same way as the liveCD? When starting the liveCD I have the full resolution.

In case someone is interested. I switched to Ubuntu 20.10, used the mainline Kernel including the new firmware. Now it works.
