6800 XT cant get virtual super resolution to work

Using a new xfx 6800xt at 1080p wanted to try out VSR and just cant get it to work.

it'll show the option in the driver software, you can toggle it on and see its enabled, the screen blinks but when you attempt to change resolution of the desktop or open a game and try all thats available is 1080p.

tried reinstalling drivers, nothing seems to make it work.

That is because the game your trying to play with doesn't support it..

After you enable VSR, go into the game resolution and set higher than your display..

If it only shows your native res, then it is a limitation of that game..
