I am currently using a 5800X3D paired with a 7800XT and playing at 1440p. I was talking with some friends and they recommended upgrading CPU. I know the 9800X3D is obviously newer and faster. But is it really gonna be a worthwhile upgrade right now? Considering I’d be spending upwards of at least $800-$1000 between the cpu+motherboard + ram and possibly a cooler. *EDIT - After reading all these comments I'll save the upgrade till I want a new GPU which probably won't be for a while.
