20.11.1 update causes black screen on mechwarrior 5 mercenaries.

I just updated my acer nitro 5 to 20.11.1 and when starting mech warrior the screen goes black and I can here music play.  

I have vega 10 or the second gpu is rx 560x.   the cpu is is a ryzen 7.    Is there a some way I can roll back to the last version of the software?  I changed to video from enhanced to default and it still goes black.

Any help would be appreciated.

When it updated it turned on the AMD free sync and my monitor isn't compatible with free sync, so I turned off free sync and set my video to vivid and it works.
