Have the mad scientists at AMD played with a 16 core Zen 5C CCX with 3D-Vcashe?  How about a Dual CCX AM5 Chip that gives 64 threads?  What about an AM5 Chip that has one CCX and one really dense HMB stack with crazy short traces back to the CCX?

I know these seem like a crazy question but, AMD has done pretty well with crazy stuff so far.

They probably tried a lot of things that we don't know of. Judging by the broken CPU jar they showed on a Gamer Nexus video.

The one that I would really know more about, would be a dual X3D CCX, would it be scalable? Performance wise.
