What is the best temperature for a Ryzen 9 9900C?

Hi, I currently built my PC as follows:

Ryzen 9 9900x (Be Quiet Rock Pro 4)
Corsair 32GB (16x2) DDR5 6800 speed
MIS B650 Tomahawk WiFi Mag
M.2 Kingston Fury 1TB (x2) PCI 4.0
MIS Ge Force 4060 ti 8GB
Corsair RM850 power supply
Corsair Carbide Spec-06 chassis

Processor temperatures reach 53 degrees at rest (Spotify and Chrone open) and video games like Diablo 4, Elden Ring, No Man Sky reach 70 to 80 degrees maximum temperature.

Is this normal? Can I optimize my PC to have a lower temperature without sacrificing performance?

Thanks.

Hello.

I also have this processor on the motherboard MSI x870 Tomahawk, cooler is Noctua NH-D15. I am surprised by the temperature readings. At rest the CPU Tctl/Tdie temperature (HWinfo program) is about 53 C, while at the same time the temperature of both CCD (Tdie) is about 38 C. Under stress in the OCCT program both readings equalize at about 75 C. I do not understand why at rest or with a small load there is such a difference between the CPU Tctl/Tdie and CCD (Tdie) readings. I do not know which reading is correct and whether everything is OK with my processor.

You don't mention what CPU cooler you have? But your reported temps (53°C - 80°C) fall within acceptable range.

Best option to reduce voltage without impacting performance is to use Curve Optimizer. There are other settings such as lowering PPT power limit or TDP thermal limit that will have a slight impact to performance. Here's a video that shows how to do it, it's for 7000 series but the process is the same.
