question about spécification memory for amd ryzen 7000

Hello Hello

I'm reading the specifications about amd ryzen 7 7700x and i'm wondering what does means this spec.
I'm not sure to understand 1x1R, 1X2R etc ...

Max Memory Speed
1x1R   5200 MT/s
1x2R   5200 MT/s
2x1R   3600 MT/s
2x2R   3600 MT/s

thanks by advance
Jerome

1x1R   5200 MT/s = 1 dimm per channel, single rank memory (normal setup with one or two sticks of memory)
1x2R   5200 MT/s = 1 dimm per channel, dual rank memory (normal setup with one or two sticks of memory)
2x1R   3600 MT/s = 2 dimms per channel, single rank memory (four sticks of single rank memory)
2x2R   3600 MT/s = 2 dimms per channel, dual rank memory (four sticks of dual rank memory)

1x1R   5200 MT/s = 1 dimm per channel, single rank memory (normal setup with one or two sticks of memory)
1x2R   5200 MT/s = 1 dimm per channel, dual rank memory (normal setup with one or two sticks of memory)
2x1R   3600 MT/s = 2 dimms per channel, single rank memory (four sticks of single rank memory)
2x2R   3600 MT/s = 2 dimms per channel, dual rank memory (four sticks of dual rank memory)

The MT/s is per stick / per channel or per CPU?

4x2R   3600 MT/s (4 sticks (2R) on dual channel board / 2 sticks on each channel) means  that the total system's speed will be:

a) 4 (sticks) x3600 MT/s = 14400 MT/s

b) 2 (channels) x 3600 MT/s = 7200 MT/s

c) 1 (CPU) x 3600 MT/s = 3600 MT/s
