How much RAM does the 5600g support

hello everyone, thanks for giving me your time, I clarify the following text was translated with google sorry for any error

my question is, how much maximum ram memory does my ryzen 5 5600g support, I can't find the information anywhere

I have a motherboard: MSI B550M PRO-VDH WiFi ProSeries

and currently 16 ram at 3200

I know that my motherboard supports up to 128gb of ram but I want to know if my 5600g supports 64gb of ram or more because I wouldn't do anything buying more ram if my processor doesn't support it

Thank you for your attention

Seems like the Maximum is 64GB of RAM MEMORY from these 2 unverified website:

But looking at your MSI SUPPORT QVL LIST FOR THE 5600G it does show that you can install 128GB of Memory: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B550M-PRO-VDH-WIFI/support#mem

Though the majority is showing to support 64GB of RAM Memory or less.

NOTE: To verify that those 128GB set of RAM MEMORY is compatible with the 5600G I highly suggest you first open a MSI Support ticket and asked them before purchasing any RAM Memory.

Or open a RAM Manufacturer's Support Ticket and ask them if the 5600G supports 128GB of RAM Memory as per MSI QVL LIST FOR THE 5600G.

EDIT:  From CPU-MONKEY website it is possible that each Dual Channel Controller supports a maximum of 64GB of RAM Memory so since the 5600G has 2  Dual Channel controllers it could support up to 128GB.

But just guessing. Some other User with a lot of technical Engineering might be able to explain or verify the above statement.

Or you can just open a AMD SUPPORT ticket and ask them directly from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/contact-email-form

wow, thank you very much for all that information, now I'm going to write a ticket to the support team and see what they say

Good idea. Keep me posted as to their response.

Take care.

I saw that in another thread (https://community.amd.com/t5/pc-building/unable-to-xmp-viper-pvs416g440c9k-4x8-ram-kit/m-p/614886#M2...) that you are a Computer Engineer.

Thanks in advance if you are able to answer this for me.

Can you answer my last reply concerning AMD APU Maximum supported RAM "From CPU-MONKEY website it is possible that each Dual Channel Controller supports a maximum of 64GB of RAM Memory so since the 5600G has 2 Dual Channel controllers it could support up to 128GB"

Is the above statement correct that even though two CPU websites mentions the Maximum Support RAM is 64GB yet MSI QVL List shows that it in fact supports 128GB of RAM Memory. Is this because each Dual Channel supports a Maximum RAM of 64GB's.?

128 GB of RAM is supported. I did find multiple sources claiming to have built such systems. For example:
