cpu always clock at high speed

hello 

my cpu always run at 3.0-4.4ghz no matter what i do even in idle .1% use 3.77ghz do these speed meant to be lower when idle .i just want to know if this is normal or not i didn't overclock my cpu

my spec 

amd ryzen 5 5600g 

8gb *2 coarsier vengeance ram

450w psu

msi a520 m pro motherboard

lexar nm620 ssd i attached some screenshot 

by the way do amd Ryzen master and task manger show same or different information ?

Try going into the Windows settings and select 'System / Power Mode' to see if you are set to the 'balanced' power level.  If you have it sent to performance, that could be the reason.

 

Also, check in the AMD Adrenalin / Performance tab to see what the CPU is doing.  From there you can launch 'Ryzen Master' and check those settings to perhaps allow for a more balanced operation.

Like @BigAl01 said, change or even modify an existing power plan.

 

The setting you may seek is the minimum processor state. On my 2700X and 7950X had to reduce that, so the clock would go down a bit.
