I have a problem with my pc, when I launch any game it crashes after displaying green screens and then restarts.
Additional info: I built this pc 2 months ago and so far it was working fine until these recurring crashes appeared, sometimes it's a blue screen but most of the time it's just a green screen + restarting the pc. I noticed on the stress test that the pc crashes when the CPU and GPU are used.
What I did:
-Change PCIE slot
-reset my pc
-reinstall my drivers
- carry out a stress test with userDiaghttps://userdiag.com/id/M3ndr4E9eD
Thank you for any help.
So, my first question - Did @lakim have any issues prior to the installation of the 24.12.1 Adrenalin driver update? If you had no issues with green or blue screens prior to that update, I would certainly recommend that you go back to the previous update version you were using (probably 24.10.1, since there was no 24.11.1 update).
The crashes started before the pilots Adrenalin 24.12. I tried to go back to the old version (Adrenalin 24.10.1) and the crashes are still there.
Did you use the AMD DDU tool to clean out your drivers so you could do a clean install of the previous version? You could also try one release prior to Adrenalin 24.10.1.
So I used the AMD DDU tool to clean my drivers and installed versions older than Adrenalin 24.10.1. and the problem persists. the problem may be linked to the 650w power supply, but I can't verify this as I don't have a power supply to test.
It could be the PSU, and as you say, it's hard to know without swapping in a different one. If you cannot get your hands on another PSU with higher wattage (say 750 Watts or greater), you might check the power connections to your motherboard (main connector and the CPU connector(s). Please ensure that you are using two separate cables to your RX 6750 XT from the PSU, and not a splitter on just one cable.
First of all, I used a single PCI Express GPU power cable PCI-e digger card, 8-pin, 6 + 2-pin. I only have this type of cable, so I've added another PCI-e, 8-pin, 6 + 2-pin, so that the card is powered by 2 different cables and the PC still crashes. I'll try to get a power supply > 650w.
